<p>Training in applied behavioural analysis rests on competence models that describe what a specialist should possess but do not name the operations the specialist is taught. This paper establishes that making the composition of competence explicit does not supply the missing link — the trainable skill — and therefore does not produce professional experience. The material is a single documented case: a dissertation study on developing the socio-psychological competence of profiling service personnel (speciality 19.00.05, Moscow, 2010) together with its measurement apparatus; the method is a structural analysis along three positions: the composition of the model advanced, the presence in the programme of discrete operations with an acceptance criterion, and the type of indicator by which the result is measured. The model is shown to be built as a closed sign system: identical components are ascribed to all categories of personnel without distinguishing the tasks of the checkpoint, of middle staff and of management. The programme is found to develop the substrate of professional action — attention, memory, stress tolerance — while containing no screening operation accepted against an external criterion; the result is accordingly measured by a substrate proxy rather than by the outcome of the activity. A distinction between three links — prescription, skill, experience — is proposed, together with a two‑point test of practice: acceptance of the skill at entry and a recorded outcome at exit, with the conditions of its applicability specified through the Kahneman–Klein criterion. A single case is examined; no claim is made about how widespread the described construction is, and the figures on the effectiveness of the skills-based approach are preliminary and subject to documentary confirmation.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>поведенческий анализ</kwd><kwd>авиационная безопасность</kwd><kwd>предполётный досмотр</kwd><kwd>профессиональная компетентность</kwd><kwd>критерий приёмки</kwd><kwd>критериальная валидность</kwd><kwd>экспертная интуиция</kwd><kwd>обратная связь</kwd><kwd>выявление угроз</kwd><kwd>langue и parole</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>behavioural analysis</kwd><kwd>aviation security</kwd><kwd>pre‑flight screening</kwd><kwd>professional competence</kwd><kwd>acceptance criterion</kwd><kwd>criterion validity</kwd><kwd>expert intuition</kwd><kwd>feedback</kwd><kwd>threat detection</kwd><kwd>langue and parole</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><ref id="ref1"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">[1] Чаленко Н. В. … — М., 2010. — 235 с.</mixed-citation></ref><ref id="ref2"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">[2] Соссюр Ф. де.
