<p>The article is devoted to a civil law analysis of the problems arising when using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in predicting in vitro fertilization (IVF). The relevance of the study is due to the rapid implementation of algorithmic systems to support clinical decision-making in reproductive medicine, in the context of an almost complete absence of special civil law regulation. Based on an analysis of Russian legislation, draft legislative initiatives, and the comparative legal experience of the European Union and the United Kingdom, key civil law issues are identified: the uncertainty regarding the distribution of civil liability between the medical organization, the doctor, and the algorithm developer; the inadequacy of the current framework for informed voluntary consent; the conflict between the needs of training AI models and the requirements for protecting patients’ personal data; and algorithmic opacity. Directions for improving civil law regulation are proposed, including the legislative consolidation of the “human in the loop” principle, the development of a differentiated liability model, and the formulation of requirements for the content of informed consent for the use of AI‑assisted reproductive technologies.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>искусственный интеллект</kwd><kwd>ЭКО</kwd><kwd>цивилистика</kwd><kwd>гражданско-правовая ответственность</kwd><kwd>информационное согласие</kwd><kwd>персональные данные</kwd><kwd>репродукция</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>artificial intelligence</kwd><kwd>IVF</kwd><kwd>civil law</kwd><kwd>civil liability</kwd><kwd>informed consent</kwd><kwd>personal data</kwd><kwd>reproduction</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><ref id="ref1"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">[1] Рыбаков О. Е.
