Independent work of students at a higher educational institution is one of the main forms of educational work. Itincludes: testing the knowledge and skills acquired in theoretical classes, the creative abilities of a future specialist, and the opportunity for the student to express themselves as an individual. Independent work performed by students allows them to develop their professional culture, practical thinking, and the ability to make correct decisions in difficult situations. Independent work helps to diversify the educational process, make itmore interesting for young people, and better understand the specifics of professional activities. The authors analyze the features of the organization of students’ independent work at universities, itsmain types, and highlight the problems of organizing students’ independent work at many higher education institutions. Today, in the context of digitalization of the educational process and an increase in the flow of information, students’ independent work is an integral part of the educational process, contributing to the development of self-discipline, deepening knowledge, and forming the necessary professional competencies.

Самостоятельная работа студентов в высшем учебном заведении является одной из основных форм учебной работы. В нейзаключаются: проверка знаний и умений, полученных на теоретических занятиях, творческие способности будущего специалиста, возможность самовыражения студента как личности. Самостоятельная работа, выполняемая студентами, позволяет формировать его профессиональную культуру, практическое мышление, умения принимать верные решения в трудной ситуации. Самостоятельная работа позволяет разнообразить образовательный процесс, сделать его более интересным для молодых людей, а также лучше понять специфику профессиональной деятельности. Авторы анализируют особенности организации самостоятельной работы студентов в вузах, ее основные виды, выделяют проблемы организации самостоятельной работы студентов во многих высших учебных заведениях. что сегодня, в условиях цифровизации образовательного процесса и увеличения потока информации, самостоятельная работа студентов является неотъемлемой частью образовательного процесса, она способствует развитию самодисциплины, углублению знаний и формированию необходимых профессиональных компетенций.
