The relevance of this study is due to the fact that various forms of extremism pose one of the most serious threats to the stability of the international legal order and the national security of countries. Specific historical prerequisites, factors, and conditions have led to the emergence and spread of radical ideologies and practices in various historical eras. The study of these aspects requires an interdisciplinary approach that combines the methods of historical science, political science, and sociology, allowing us to trace the continuity of radical methods of influencing public consciousness from ancient times to the present day.
