В статье рассматриваются вопросы биорзнаобразия, его значимость и причины сохранения. На сегодняшний день весьма актуальной среди ученых является проблема сохранения биоразнообразия в связи с активной деятельностью человека. Утрата биоразнообразия проявляется в виде сокращения или полной утраты разнообразия видов растений и животных. Сохранение биологического разнообразия отражено в различных Конвенциях, Программах и Списках различного уровня, среди нихнаиболее значима Международная Конвенция о торговле видами дикой фауны и флоры.

The article discusses the issues of biodiversity, itssignificance, and the reasons for itspreservation. Today, the problem of biodiversity conservation is highly relevant among scientists due to human activities. The loss of biodiversity manifests itself in the form of a decrease or complete loss of plant and animal species diversity. The preservation of biological diversity is reflected in various Conventions, Programs, and Lists at different levels, with the International Convention on Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora being the most significant.
